What is Ophthalmic Techniques
An ophthalmologic Technician is someone who assists an ophthalmologist (eye doctor) in providing patient treatment. He performs a variety of clinical responsibilities relating to the eyes. Ophthalmic technicians assist ophthalmologists in patient care by taking histories, administering procedures and testing, and preparing patients for appointments. Their job gives crucial information to the opthalmologist in order to diagnose and treat patients. The diploma in Ophthalmic Technician prepares the students to perform these activities.
Eligibility
12th standard pass with 60% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
